Safe boating practices must be followed at all times. All boats must have Coast Guard required safety equipment on board in good working order. The use of life jackets while the combustible engine is running is HIGHLY recommended but not required. The tournament may be shortened by the tournament director due to unsafe weather or other unsafe conditions.
3. Each participant is responsible for reading and being familiar with all rules. Florida Fish & Wildlife Rules apply at all time during the tournament. Violation of any rule will result in disqualification. 4. Participation is open to all anglers. Anglers under 16 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or person over 18 years of age. All anglers must possess a current 5. Entry fee is $250/boat up to midnight Saturday May 9th. All entries received after June 13th will be $300/boat. Prizes are based on 50 paid entries. The tournament reserves the right to scale the prize structure based on fewer than 6. Only Redfish/Red Drum are eligible. Each boat will be eligible to weigh 1 fish/boat. All fish must comply with 7. Boats are limited to no more than 4 anglers. 8. All fish must be caught on rod & reel in a conventional sporting manner. Anglers may use live bait or artificial lures. Only 1 fishing rod per angler may be used at any one time. No fishing within 100 yards of any tournament boat anchored, push poled, or power poled in position. No wading or trolling permitted. Anglers may not make contact with any fixed dock or land during fishing hours. 9. Boats may launch from any launch. Fishing time will be from 6:30am until 12:00 Noon. No lines in the water before 6:30am and all lines must be out of the water at 12:00pm. Boats must be in the weigh in line inside the boundaries of the no wake zone at the 10. Scoring will be as follows: A. Length of fish - 1 point / Inch of length rounded down to the closest 1/4 inch. B. Weight of fish – 1 point / Pound of weight rounded down to the closest ¼ pound. C. Spots on fish – 1 point / Spot on fish • All natural black spots 11/64” or greater, are counted. A clear and distinct line must be visible between spots. If not, it will be counted as one spot. Points will be totaled to determine score. Highest point total wins. Ties will be decided by weight of heaviest fish. 11. Every effort must be made to keep fish alive. 12.

All decisions by the tournament director are final. Any protest must be filed in writing with a $200.00 deposit no later that 15 minutes after the last angler has weighed in. Any and all protest after that time will not be recognized. The tournament reserves the right to polygraph any and all anglers registered in the tournament.
